I realize we are all searching for the same thing. Something bigger than us. Something to lead us or to pray to in our hardest times of life.

I notice everyone has their own idea of what the best route is.You may do it through charging crystals, refusing to go to church, saying Gods not there. Maybe you choose eating healthy, abstaining from pork, reading palms and cards, devoutly reading your horoscope, choosing a “good moral ethics” way of life or meditating.

Creator, Allah, Jesus, Messiah, Jehovah… God.

I Am is called many names. Ive even heard people refer to themselves as god. Saying that serving themselves is the highest form of respect for God. The title has been morphed many times over the years. Slowly taking shape in different ways through cultures.. through religions. One telling you to cover your head others telling you to eat certain foods. There are so many religions and ways to follow this God of the universe, it is quite overwhelming. I can only explain what I know and the rest is To be continued…and what I know today is this.

God is way less complicated, way more inviting and understanding and way bigger than what He, in most cases, is explained or understood to be.

Ive heard the God of condemnation message more than I ever should have. When truly the God of peace and love is still alive and is still working. That is the God Ive come to know.

Some of us were born into the religion we’ve adopted.. some of us are running as far as we can the other way after having our bodies and minds broken from the experience. Theres no need to fight about it. Instead, I want you to meet God through my eyes.

I have no intentions to persuade you into following a religion. I just want to lower the wall religion has built up. Blocking you from getting to know who Ive become so close with. I do believe there is a path to truth but I also understand we’re all just trying to figure it out as best we can. Put aside the technicalities of religion or how a believer should be or act. Just start with God is real and He sees everyone individually. He wants a relationship with every person. I want you to be open to listen as if I were telling you about one of my besties. I want you to take the steps to call out to God on your own. I’ll tell you about Him one story at a time. ttyl
